The apartment is located just inside the city walls in a quiet and beautiful part of the center and a few steps away from everything.

It is situated on the second and last floor of a large building, a convent in the medieval age, and looks pretty and modern in furnitures. Entrance, kitchen and dining area are very comfortable; the apt. has a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a laundry with washing machine and living room with a chair bed. Mattresses are new and very comfortable, air conditioning is at your disposal and you can have breakfast in the kitchen and lunch and dinner in the light dining room.

You may reach the apartment climbing wide stone stairs or using the lift.

The location is great, just a few steps away from everything you need: café, supermarket, grocery stores, restaurants are just outside the entrance court. The famous Piazza Anfiteatro is 100 mt far.

And last but not least, the motorway junction is very close (less than 10 minutes by car), so for those arriving by car it is very convenient. The local bus stop is at the bottom of the road (about 150 mt away). This means that for those who arrive without a car they can easily take the bus to Florence or Pisa (city centre and airports). The train or bus station can also be reached in a short walking distance (about 20 min).

Leiligheten ligger byens handlegate. Men det var likevel stille og rolig . Vinduene i stuen og kjøkkenet vender ut mot en hage. Enrico tok meg smilende i mot , og sendte melding etter en ukes tid og lurte på om alt var bra. Og jeg renger med at han hadde svart meg raskt om jeg hadde sendt en melding.
Skal jeg tilbake til Lucca igjen , håper Enricos leilighet er ledig.

I cannot recommend this fabulous apartment highly enough! Charming, comfortable, bright, beautifully furnished, thoughtfully fitted out with everything you could possibly need. Unbelievable location, tucked away in a converted convent that affords quiet serenity and an amazing view, with cafes, restaurants, wine bars, delicatessens, clothing stores, and convenience shops right outside your door. Proximity to the ancient city walls is just minutes away.
The building is safe, secure and stays cool even in scorching temperatures. The apartment has windows in every room that generate a comfortable cross breeze, and air conditioning is needed only very sporadically.
Enrico is a wonderful host - kind, thoughtful, cheerful, and always available…although I never had a single issue the full month I stayed there! He also offers personal tours, which I would highly recommend, especially if you don’t have a car yourself but would like to explore the Tuscan countryside.
